BSc Mechanical Engineering Technology is a four years undergraduate degree in mechanical Engineering Technology.

Entry requirements

Admission is based on HSSC (Intermediate) or an equivalent qualification in a relevant group, combined with the entry test the institution uses. Applicants holding A-Levels or a foreign qualification need an equivalence certificate from the Inter Board Coordination Commission, which is worth applying for as soon as results are published. Merit is usually a weighted aggregate of HSSC marks and entry test score, and the weightings differ between institutions.

Accreditation

This is an engineering technology qualification, which Pakistan Engineering Council regulations treat as distinct from an engineering degree. It does not lead to registration as an engineer with PEC. That distinction is easy to miss now that most awards are titled “BS”, so confirm which stream a programme sits in before enrolling if PEC registration matters to you.
