The HEC Indigenous PhD Fellowship provides a monthly stipend of roughly PKR 30,000-50,000 for students studying at Pakistani universities. Students pursuing part of their PhD abroad may qualify for HEC’s Overseas PhD scholarships, which can provide a stipend of up to $2,500/month depending on the host country. A separate track, the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor, funds PhD study specifically at top-50-ranked US universities, covering around $19,200/year in stipend plus roughly $2,000/year in health insurance. Admission Requirements
