BS Management

BS Management is a four years undergraduate degree in management.

Entry requirements

Admission is based on HSSC (Intermediate) or an equivalent qualification in a relevant group, combined with the entry test the institution uses. Applicants holding A-Levels or a foreign qualification need an equivalence certificate from the Inter Board Coordination Commission, which is worth applying for as soon as results are published. Merit is usually a weighted aggregate of HSSC marks and entry test score, and the weightings differ between institutions.

Accreditation

This field has no single statutory accreditor in the way engineering, medicine and law do. Institutional recognition by the Higher Education Commission is the baseline; beyond that, judge programmes on faculty qualifications, facilities and graduate outcomes, and ask the institution directly about each.

What it leads to

A four-year bachelor’s is the standard undergraduate qualification in Pakistan and satisfies the 16-year requirement for postgraduate admission. What it leads to depends heavily on what a graduate builds alongside it — internships, projects and demonstrable practical skill — since employers in most fields weight those alongside the degree itself.

Comparing institutions

Fees for the same degree title vary several-fold between Pakistani institutions, and course content varies with them.
